Reverse marketplace site imandi.com Tuesday narrowed the field of contenders to be its
agency of record to four — Dailey and
Associates
, Crispin Porter
Bogusky
, Cole and Weber, and Moses Anshell.

“After discussions with more than 40 agencies, the four finalists stood out
as having the creative and media planning expertise to build our brand,”
says Blake Park, imandi.com’s vice president of marketing.

“These are
agencies characterized by a willingness to create passionate advertising,
advertising that stands out in a relevant way from the plethora of other
dot-com ads.”

Dailey and Associates represents Mondavi Wines, Nestle, and Countrywide
Home Loans. Crispin Porter Bogusky has created campaigns for Bankrate.com, the Florida anti-smoking
campaign, Checkers and PlanetOutdoors.com. Cole & Weber
represents Qpass, K2 skis, and Visio.
Moses Anshell represents Arizona Tourism, Joe Boxer, and Peter Piper Pizza.

Imandi.com offers an e-commerce service where buyers log on and fill out
information about what products or services they’re seeking. Imandi.com
then links them with merchants that meet their specifications and want to
compete for their business. Product categories include home services,
travel services, and small business services and products.

The company is expected to make its decision about an agency of record
before the end of the month. Billings for the online and offline campaigns
are expected to be between $20 and $25 million.
