IntelliQuest Forms IQ2.net

Austin, TX-based IntelliQuest Information
Group
(IQST)
said it has formed IQ2.net, dedicated to providing direct marketing services
for the Internet.

IQ2.net will assume most of the products and
business operations of IntelliQuest’s MKIS division, positioning the new
company to focus on providing targeted customer data for interactive
marketing.

The new subsidiary will use various proprietary marketing resources, including
the IQConnect electronic registration service, IQAffinity real-time delivery
of electronic coupons and targeted Web-based advertising, as well as
IntelliQuest’s High-Tech Household Database.

IQ2.net will also provide the IntelliCIS (Intelligent Customer Information
System) suite of online and database marketing services.

“The formation of IQ2.net is a logical next step for the company,” said Brian
Sharples, president and CEO of IntelliQuest. “Our leadership position in
electronic registration and in identifying Internet-enabled households is a
natural springboard for connecting Web-based marketers with individual
computer users.”

“We are creating the next generation of services for targeted Internet
marketing,” said Charles Stryker, president of IQ2.net. “Our tools for Web
marketers allow them to customize content and product offerings for site
visitors based on demographic and lifestyle data and known technology
interests. IQ2.net is providing the information that drives true personalized
marketing on the Internet.”

IntelliQuest Information Group provides detailed customer information for
companies selling technology products and services, and to those selling
through the Internet.

IntelliQuest’s Research Division supplies clients with market information that
helps clients plan media strategies and schedules, track product performance
and customer satisfaction, measure advertising effectiveness and evaluate new
products, markets or business opportunities. Zona Research, a wholly owned
subsidiary, provides consultation, analytical and advisory services on the
Internet, intranets and e-commerce.
