IntelliQuest Information Group
Inc., a provider of information-based marketing services to the
technology industry, signed a license and services agreement with First Data Solutions, a provider
of consumer and public record information.
Under the terms of the agreement, IntelliQuest has the exclusive right to
remarket First Data Solutions database products to selected technology market
segments. Financial details were not disclosed.
The licensing agreement underscores IntelliQuest’s strategic commitment to
help technology clients improve the effectiveness of marketing programs such
as upgrade/cross-sell and retention, as well as the identification and
securing of new prospects, the company said.
First Data Solutions is a single-source information provider serving clients
in the financial, merchant (catalog/mail), telecommunications, insurance,
packaged goods and other direct marketing industries. It is a business unit
of First Data Corp.

management products and services.
IntelliQuest uses its proprietary databases and software to help technology
companies track product performance and customer satisfaction, measure
advertising effectiveness, assess brand strength and competitive position,
determine price sensitivity and evaluate new products, markets or other
business opportunities.
