The Research Division of IntelliQuest Information Group Inc. has opened a new
Data Collection Center in Austin, TX.

The company said the facility is “one
of the largest and most sophisticated data collection facilities dedicated to
providing marketing research concerning U.S. technology-driven and Internet
markets.”

The center completes the consolidation of three domestic data collection
facilities into a single operation.

The new center increases IntelliQuest’s interviewing capacity by 50 percent, with the
capability of increasing capacity an additional 40 percent at the facility. The
center will employ the latest Computer-Aided Telephone Interview (CATI)
technology and Web-based data information gathering technology. In addition,
the consolidation will allow IntelliQuest to concentrate its top interviewers
and managers at a single location, leveraging their expertise while improving
operating efficiency.

“The new Austin center complements our data collection facility in London,”
said chief operating officer Ed Frazier. “In addition, it allows us to better
leverage the research operations talent we have developed over the past dozen
years.”

IntelliQuest provides information-based marketing services to the technology
industry. IntelliQuest uses its proprietary databases and software to help
technology companies track product performance and customer satisfaction,
measure advertising effectiveness, assess brand strength and competitive
position, determine price sensitivity, and evaluate new products, markets or
other business opportunities.

The company also licenses custom proprietary software applications for
electronic product registration and offers associated database marketing
products and services.
