iTRiBE Signs Agreement with Electric Classifieds

Jun 12, 1998

iTRiBE, Inc. in Norfolk, VA signed an
agreement with Electric Classifieds Inc. in San Francisco to
provide online automotive inventory solutions.

iTRiBE said its technology provides migration for auto dealer inventory to
the Internet and is being used by companies including America Online, Digital
City, Tribune Company and several major auto dealers. Financial terms of the
latest deal were not disclosed.

“This makes posting inventory on the Web a cinch for car dealers–they don’t
have to duplicate efforts or have several different companies dialing into
their management system. iTRiBE simply forwards processed inventory data
anywhere the dealer requests”, said Michael Adolphi, president of the company.

“Electric Classifieds is a growing company and iTRiBE saw this as a golden
opportunity to increase our national exposure”, said Chuck Lewis, business
development director. Online shopping is growing by leaps and bounds and auto
dealers are seeing the impact to their businesses, and the way customers
expect to buy from them.
