Interactive agency K2 Design and domain name registrar Register.com announced Wednesday that they’ve agreed to co-market one another’s services.

Both companies are betting that small business who need Web design services will also need domain name registration, and vice versa.

“This partnership is a tremendous opportunity to showcase K2’s range of professional services on a site known in the industry for providing comprehensive, Web-based solutions for a wide variety of qualified clients,” according to Matthew de Ganon, executive chairman of K2 Design.

“Not only will this partnership with register.com position K2 with diverse clientele, but it will give us access to them at a point when many are actively seeking the business, marketing and advertising expertise we offer.”

The exclusive deal calls for K2 to be identified on register.com’s site as the company’s creative services partner. K2 will refer its clients exclusively to register.com for all new domain name registrations and related services.
