E-mail marketing firm MessageMedia on Tuesday named Grey Advertising as the charter partner in
its Agency Alliance Program, aimed at boosting the company’s client list by
reaching advertisers through their agencies.

The initiative also adds the e-mail marketing capabilities to the agencies’
arsenals, at a time when such a capacity is becoming more and more a
must-have. Plus, the agencies get a commission when their clients choose to
use MessageMedia services.

“Forward-thinking advertising agencies understand the power of e-mail as a
marketing tool,” says Larry Jones, president and chief executive officer of
MessageMedia.

“The Agency Alliance Program allows the agency to continue to focus on its
core competencies while at the same time offering leading-edge on-line
marketing programs to help clients continue to attract and keep customers.
And it provides an excellent new sales channel for our services.”

The program teams MessageMedia and agencies in joint marketing programs
including sales training and sales calls. MessageMedia will also get
placement on agency Web sites.
