MSN LinkExchange said that small-business
customers of its AdStore Web site promotion service
can now purchase targeted banner advertising packages on the Excite Network.

The agreement allows small-business advertisers to purchase advertising
campaigns by
credit card for as little as $100 and target them to specific sections of the
Excite Network including Autos, Classifieds, Education, Entertainment, Games,
Money and Investment, News, Sports and Weather. Financial arrangements were
not disclosed.

“The ability to target potential customers on the Excite Network adds a new
dimension to our AdStore service and enables our customers to reach the
right audience the first time around,” said Andy Scott, vice president of business development at MSN LinkExchange.

LinkExchange’s AdStore also enables small businesses to purchase affordable
advertising on other sites on the Web, as well as on the LinkExchange Banner
Network, which reaches over 400,000 sites.

LinkExchange takes the tools that bigger players have used to be successful
on the Web, such as advertising, affiliate programs and e-mail, and makes
them available to small businesses and Web site owners.
