Direct marketing e-mail company NetCreations acquired
opt-in service InfoPick.com in Utah. Financial terms of
the deal were not disclosed.

NetCreations CEO Rosalind Resnick told the Silicon Alley Reporter that InfoPick.com was already one of the company’s 110 list management clients.
Resnick plans to redesign InfoPick.com and drive traffic to it to create a
“hub for gathering consumer names on the Internet.”

NetCreations currently owns nearly two million unique addresses and
expects to have five million by the end of 1999. Other plans for next year
include possibly acquiring small to mid-size traffic sites that Resnick says
NetCreations can “turn into powerful generators of opt-in names.”

NetCreations’ PostMaster Direct Response, which allows users to sign up for e-
mail about only those products and services of interest to them, launched in
1996.
