San Francisco-based Balthaser Online launched a new Internet
agency intended to be “the premier showcase for high-impact online brand
promotion and advertising.”

The site leverages the latest Flash technology from Macromedia.

“We founded the company to bring some life to the Internet,” said Neil
Balthaser, founder and president. “The Internet is boring, boring, boring.
We’re out to make it a fun, exciting and entertaining place to be. HTML is
holding creatives hostage, that’s why we’re creating all of our content in
Flash.”

Balthaser Online uses mixed media content featuring full-screen graphics,
animation, custom music, voice and sound effects.

Balthaser Online calls itself an Internet creativity company–a new breed of
online production company that creates advertising and branded experiences
combining technology, media, creativity and interactivity. The company is
targeting important brands that need high production value, TV-like exposure
on the Internet.
