New Paradigm Acquires Schoen, Kapelus & Cipriano

New Paradigm Corp. an Internet company in New York City, acquired a majority interest in Schoen, Kapelus & Cipriano in Harrison, N.Y., an ad agency that specializes in travel, tourism and hospitality accounts.


Financial terms were not disclosed.


Schoen, Kapelus, which is being renamed SKC Advertising, has 10 employees and estimated billings of $3 million from clients like Kemwel Holiday Autos, according to The New York Times.


Milton Kapelus, 61, president of Schoen, Kapelus, will head SKC as president.


Tim Carroll Joins InterVU as Vice President, InterVU Networks InterVU Inc. in San Diego named of Tim Carroll as vice president of InterVU Networks.


Carroll joins InterVU from DIGEX Inc., where he most recently held the
position of Western Region Director. While at DIGEX, he also served as
director of strategic development and director of strategic sales, and was
responsible for building and growing business relationships with technology
industry leaders.


Prior to DIGEX, Carroll spent over four years with Compaq Computer as a senior account manager responsible for PC hardware sales to large-scale corporate clients.


InterVU’s video and multimedia services include the management and
distribution of live broadcasts, video-on-demand, the V-Banner (video
advertising banner), trueVU–a rich media advertising solution co-created
with MatchLogic, and end-user multimedia software.
