PetQuarters.com Hires Avenue A Media

PetQuarters.com, an Internet pet supply store, said that it selected Avenue A Media to be its agent for media planing, buying and ad serving on the Web.


“We believe that the agreement with Avenue A Media will greatly enhance the effectiveness of our online advertising campaign and make more efficient use of the resources we commit to marketing PetQuarters.com,” said Steven B. Dempsey, president and CEO.


Avenue A Media offers Internet media planning, buying, serving and reporting services for local, regional and national advertisers. Billings were not disclosed.


Leveraging proprietary technology, Avenue A said it collects real-time ROI metrics for
its clients’ campaigns, then optimizes to emphasize the most effective ads and
Web sites. Both the media planning and ad serving systems generate customized
data warehouses for customers over time, enabling both systems to learn from
every ad served.


PetQuarters.com provides secure, online purchases of more than 1,200 items
>from its 55,000-square-foot warehouse in Lonoke, AR.
