Interactive PR firm TechMarcom and Read-Poland Associates, which recently
moved into the Internet space, have agreed to team up on an as-needed basis
to offer marketing and communications to tech start-ups and new dot-coms with
limited budgets.

The alliance can provide a broad range of services and media representation
to clients of both firms in Texas and the Northeast, the companies said.

“Start-ups need high quality PR from senior professionals, but often can’t
afford it in their early stages,” said Jon Boroshok, president of TechMarcom
in the Boston area. “I enjoy working with them as they grow. It is an
exciting niche market to serve.”

“Read-Poland and TechMarcom truly complement each other where we are
different, but we are similar in our ability to work with young companies on
a project, hourly or small retainer basis,” said David Dunnigan, general
manager of Read-Poland in Dallas.

Read-Poland was established in 1951 and recently expanded its services to
include Internet affiliate marketing counsel and Web public relations.
