Priceline.com (PCLN)
on Thursday kicked off a national advertising campaign in support of the
expanded launch of its name-your-price mortgage service, featuring spokesman
William Shatner singing its praises.

The company is also pushing the new service with a promotion, which rewards
users of the service with two free airline tickets to any destination in
the continental US.

The advertising campaign will feature national TV, radio, and print media
buys. priceline.com didn’t reveal precise spending numbers, but said it
would be a multi-million dollar effort.

The priceline.com mortgage service was beta tested in New York and Florida,
and the company is now rolling it out nationwide.
