Siegel & Gale Adds Two Creative Executives

Brand identity and strategic marketing company Siegel & Gale named Richard Smith as
creative director and Ben Hermel as design director at its New York
headquarters.

Smith will be responsible for design and creative strategy on a range of
projects. Hermel will oversee effectiveness and quality for a variety of
creative assignments.

Smith’s career began at Peter Saville Associates in London. Concurrently, he
was design director for the Whitechapel Art Gallery corporate identity
program.

In 1989, he co-founded design studio Area, while continuing to
collaborate with PSA. Ben Hermel was associate creative director at Enterprise IG in New York prior
to joining Siegel & Gale, overseeing projects for clients including Blue Cross
Blue Shield of Florida and Ford. He also has served as a senior designer for Landor
Associates.

Siegel & Gale clients have included including American Express, Bristol-Myers
Squibb, Ernst & Young, Kodak, Girl Scouts of the USA, Citibank, Bayer Corp.,
Medtronic, Scholastic, T. Rowe Price, Reciprocal and Lycos.
