Starcom Media Services Plans Internet Unit

Starcom Media Services in Chicago, a media services agency owned by the Leo
Burnett Company, plans to open Starcom IP, a unit focusing on media planning
and buying on the Internet, according to a New York Times report.


Rishad Tobaccowala, 39, was named president of the new unit. He had been
president at Giant Step in Chicago, another Burnett
unit that designs Web sites and advertising for the Internet. At Giant Step,
Adam Heneghan, 29, chief operating officer, will take on the additional duties
of president; Eric Heneghan, 31, continues as chief executive.
