Straight UP! Names Sales Veep

Jan 14, 1999

Interactive advertising tracking and reporting company Straight UP! in San Diego said
that Doug Nester has been named vice president of sales.

Nester will be introducing Straight UP’s technology to the scores of e-
commerce advertisers he has relationships with. In addition, he will be
helping to shape the company’s emerging sales strategy for both direct and
channel sales of its
advertising-to-sales reporting service, as well as assisting in refining the
company’s selling process.

Previously, Nester was instrumental in building Wired’s online sales team from
the ground up. Arriving shortly after the sale of the first banner, Nester
ultimately managed sales efforts for most of Wired Digital’s sales programs.
Prior to that he was VP, Associate Media Director at Goldberg, Moser, O’
Neill/San Francisco.

Straight UP! provides a real-time Internet tracking and reporting service that
enables marketers to fully measure, understand, and increase the impact and
effectiveness of Web marketing campaigns. The service covers banners, buttons,
e-mails, rich media ads, interstitials and hyperlinks.
