Ticketmaster Selects NetGravity AdServer

San Mateo, CA-based NetGravity said its AdServer has been
selected by Ticketmaster Online to manage its
advertising inventory, target ads to specific audiences, and generate
performance reports.


Targeting will include the users’ geographic location, music tastes, and
sports
preferences.


“The AdServer solution enables us to grow, starting with effective inventory
management and the ability to dynamically target ads. NetGravity has a strong
vision and a solid understanding about where online advertising is
heading,” said Greg Bauer, vice president of ad sales for Ticketmaster Online.


Ticketmaster Online said 1997 ticket sales reached $33 million.


Ticketmaster provides ticketing for 85 professional sports franchises and
hundreds of leading arenas, stadiums, performing arts venues, and theaters.
Tickets are available for more than 150,000 events a year, including a broad
range of concerts, sports, family entertainment, performing arts, and movies.
