US Interactive Signs as AOR for Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises in New York City said it selected US Interactive as its interactive agency of record.


Work has already begun on the redesign of the Celebrity Cruises Web site through US Interactive’s New York office. Spending was not disclosed.


“We will be working to include comprehensive information about the Celebrity Cruises brand
and all its offerings, as well as incorporating dynamic content for the great
variety of itineraries and activities,” said Michael Chaney, US Interactive’s Executive Vice President.


“By redesigning our Web site, the consumer will be able to browse Celebrity
Cruises’ Five-Star Fleet in a more user-friendly manner,” said Richard Sasso,
Celebrity Cruises president. “The site will offer views and information about
destinations and itineraries, pricing, accommodations, onboard service,
cuisine and more.”


Celebrity Cruises is operated by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., which also
operates Royal Caribbean International. The two brands’ combined fleet
consists of 17 vessels
