New York City-based VitaSave, an online natural health superstore and resource center, and Thrive, a consumer-health site, signed a one-year agreement making VitaSave the exclusive provider of natural health content and products on both Thrive’s Web site and on America Online (AOL keyword: thrive).
Under terms of the agreement, VitaSave becomes a premier sponsor on Thrive’s
Web presence. Spending was not disclosed.
VitaSave developed a co-branded area within the consumer-health site called “Vital Vitamins.” The new area, found in Thrive’s diet section on the Web and AOL, offers users resources to help them incorporate vitamins and other supplements into their daily diet, the firm said. Also, “Vital Vitamins” provides users with access to VitaSave’s inventory of discounted health merchandise.
“VitaSave and Thrive are a natural complement as more people turn to natural
health solutions to supplement their traditional healthcare needs,” said
William Greenberg, CEO of VitaSave.
Thrive is a new media joint venture between America Online and Time Inc. that
claims 28 million pageviews per month.
