VitaSave.com, a
natural-
health superstore and resource center, launched an affiliate network with
more than 500 charter members.

Among the members are portals, communities and content sites including Excite,
Thrive, Women.com, theglobe.com, Prodigy, PC World, sixdegrees, Fragrance.net, Astrology.net
and PlanetOut.

Affiliates will establish an additional revenue stream by earning commissions
on sales originating from their sites without having to invest in additional
backend solutions or implementing a fulfillment process. Affiliates will also
have access to content from VitaSave.com.

US Interactive is coordinating the
network. Billings were not disclosed.

“Our Affiliate Network will allow us to expand our reach to include people
with widely varying interests and needs,” said David Eigen, president of
VitaSave.com. “But what all these people have in common is the desire to get
and stay healthy naturally, and we can help them obtain that goal using the
information and products available at VitaSave.com.”

To ensure that network affiliates are credited for each purchase originating
from their site, VitaSave.com chose LinkShare to provide all tracking and
recording capabilities. Network members can access the status of their account
via real-time reporting as well as a month-end report of their total sales and
resulting commissions.
