Internet guide network About.com established an online shopping
partnership with ShopNow.com Inc., a direct marketing and
electronic commerce company.
The agreement calls for ShopNow.com to build and maintain a co-branded
shopping destination on the About.com Shopping Channel.
About.com’s users will have access to most of ShopNow.com’s 29,000 merchants.
ShopNow.com will have access to About.com’s network of 7.2 million unique
users. Financial terms include a multi-year, multimillion-dollar payment to
About.com. Specifics were not disclosed.

ShopNow.com. “The 29,000 merchants on ShopNow.com and extensive network of
destinations on About.com will enable us to create a premier shopping
destination.”
About.com’s network includes 650 targeted environments, each overseen by a
professional guide.
