ACEI Plans E-Commerce Site for Parents

San Jose, CA-based American Champion Entertainment Inc. (ACEI) plans to launch
an e-commerce Web site called Hiyah.com,
aimed at parents with young children.

Hiyah.com will offer e-commerce, entertainment and education and will be an
amazon.com associate. The company said Hiyah.com has the advantage of being
advertised to over 40 million households weekly through the company’s
children’s TV program “Adventures with Kanga Roddy.”

Debuting the first week in April 1999, the Web site will feature a changing
library of children’s books and stories narrated by celebrities such as Joe
Montana and his wife Jennifer, Pat Morita, Peggy Fleming, Ronnie Lott and
others. Parents may purchase books and other items related to the stories
they’ve read.

“I’m confident we will compel viewers to repeatedly visit our site because of
our rich content and creative presentation that includes great stories,
original artwork and music,” said George Chung, company chairman, “Our TV
production experience and our celebrity alliances put us one step ahead of the
competition.”

“Adventures with Kanga Roddy” is a children’s program seen on public
television stations nationwide. The series centers around the moral teachings
of a seven-foot tall martial arts expert kangaroo, and stars Pat Morita of
“Karate Kid” fame. The executive producers of the show are football stars Joe
Montana and Ronnie Lott.
