America Online signed placement deals with
children’s toy retailer KBkids.com, for sale by owner real estate market
Owners.com and Ashford.com, a luxury-goods online retailer.
KBkids.com will be one of three premier toy
retailers featured on AOL, holding Anchor Tenant status on the AOL Toys
Department, with “Gold Tenant” positions in the Educational Toys and
Electronic Games Departments, and “Silver Tenant” positions in the Music &
Video and Software Departments.
Ad banners and commerce links will be
featured throughout the AOL service.
Owners.com will sponsor the Private Homes
Sales section of AOL’s ClassifiedsPlus directory.
AOL members and visitors to
its Web-based brands will have access to a co-branded version of Owners.com.
Ashford.com, which markets watches,
sunglasses, pens, fragrances and other items, will advertise on AOL,
Netscape’s Netcenter and CompuServe.
Financial details of the various deals were not disclosed.
