FCW Government Technology Group has selected the BroadVision One-To-One
integrated suite of e-commerce applications for its upcoming gBuys business-to-government Web site.
BroadVision Inc. (NASDAQ:BVSN), a
provider of personalized e-business applications, said that its consulting
partner KPMG is providing system implementation
services for gBuys.
gBuys, scheduled for launch in August, is a new deal-based B2G e-market for
commodity IT sellers holding government contracts and federal, state and
local government buyers.
BroadVision One-To-One will deliver the site with transaction management,

the needs of both the government and high-tech manufacturers,” said Rani
Merritt, executive vice president, worldwide marketing organization at
BroadVision.
“The government will save money on each transaction by
aggregating purchases across the entire public sector, and sellers will
benefit from rapid reach across this market segment of over 20 million end
users.”
