BroadVision, Commerce One Team Up

Personalized e-business applications provider BroadVision Inc.and
e-commerce solutions provider Commerce Onesigned a
pact to
integrate the BroadVision Procurement app with Commerce One’s MarketSite.net portal.

Under the agreement, BroadVision will offer access to MarketSite.net to
customers of its procurement product, which is built on the company’s
BroadVision One-To-One Commerce suite. MarketSite.net is a U.S. portal for
exchanging goods and
services among businesses worldwide.

The two companies also will engage in joint marketing activities to promote
the combined solution. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

“Commerce One is committed to moving global trade to the Web,” said Roy
Satterthwaite, vice president of Commerce One MarketSite Business Unit. “By
working with e-commerce vendors like BroadVision, we are creating more
e-marketplace on-ramps and facilitating real transactions for goods and
services.”

BroadVision, founded in 1993, has over 1,000 customers throughout the world.
Commerce One operates the Global Trading Web, a large B2B trading community
comprised of many open e-marketplaces.
