Classified Ventures’ automobile shopping site Cars.com has added InsWeb to the advice section of its
automotive Web site to allow car shoppers to obtain free auto insurance
quotes.

Consumers visiting cars.com can use InsWeb, the Internet’s leading insurance
marketplace, to compare auto quotes from various carriers, including State
Farm, Nationwide, Liberty Mutual, RelianceDirect and AIG.

“Teaming with InsWeb provides visitors to cars.com with a simple, time-saving
method for obtaining automobile insurance information,” said Mitch Golub,
president and general manager of Cars.com. “Working with InsWeb is one more
example of how cars.com is simplifying the car-shopping and ownership
process.”

InsWeb has teamed up with more than 20 car-buying sites, including
Intellichoice, Kelly Blue Book and Consumer Car Club of America. InsWeb is
currently providing auto insurance quotes to consumers from 17 insurance
carriers nationwide.

Cars.com currently has inventory in 45 markets, including a database of more
than 125,000 vehicles, more than 3,500 reviews from automotive journalists,
and tools including model reports, an advice section, a dealer locator, as
well as financing and insurance information.
