Current Analysis Inc., a provider of online competitive intelligence and analysis, said it has forged a partnership with CommerceNet, the industry association for
promoting and building electronic global commerce solutions.


Sterling, VA-based Current Analysis has become the daily Internet commerce
analytical content provider to CommerceNet members. Financial details of the
agreement were not disclosed.


As part of the agreement, Current Analysis has set up a CommerceNet
Members page on its site. CommerceNet members can also link to the special site directly from the CommerceNet page.


The special members page will include daily industry headlines, accompanied by
Current Analysis’s news event synopsis. In addition, on a weekly basis,
selected Competitive Intelligence and Advisory reports will be taken from
Current Analysis’s CurrentCOMPETE service and posted on the CommerceNet
members’ site.


“Our membership has a need for straight-forward, hard-hitting analysis of
daily industry events, and we are proud to join Current Analysis in delivering
this information,” said Stacey Bressler, vice president of marketing and
business development at
CommerceNet.


As part of the agreement, CommerceNet member organizations will be eligible to
receive trial subscriptions and discounts if they decide to subscribe to one
of Current Analysis’s service offerings.


Current Analysis uses a Web-based platform to deliver expert analysis of
industry trends and events as they happen. Its analysts, with an average of 15
years in the industry, predominantly come from the high-tech vendor community.
