Cyberian Outpost Acquires ISN’s Computer Superstore Customer Base

Nov 6, 1998

Kent, CT-based Cyberian Outpost Inc. said it has
acquired the Internet Shopping Network
(ISN) Computer Superstore’s customer base.

Cyberian Outpost will be the new online shopping destination for the Computer
Superstore’s more than 160,000 customers. Prior to the acquisition, Cyberian
Outpost had about 161,000 customers. Financial arrangements were not
disclosed.

As part of the deal, ISN has agreed to maintain a direct link from the ISN
Computer Superstore’s homepage that will lead shoppers to the Cyberian Outpost
homepage for
the next four months. Further, all existing URLs relating to the ISN Computer
Superstore will re-direct users to Cyberian Outpost.

“This acquisition is a natural fit for Cyberian Outpost and ISN because we
both share a commitment to providing a broad product selection with superior
service,” said Darryl Peck, president and CEO of Cyberian Outpost.

Internet Shopping Network also operates First Auction, a real-time online
auction featuring a selection of home and leisure products, jewelry, consumer
electronics and
computers.
