Cyberian Outpost Forms Partnership With USA TODAY Online

Computer retailer Cyberian Outpost said it has
established a major sales and marketing agreement with USA TODAY Online.

Under the terms of the agreement, Cyberian Outpost will be the exclusive
computer hardware reseller within USA TODAY Online’s Computer Marketplace and
on its Technology site, and a “premier” vendor in its Computer Software
Marketplace.

Cyberian Outpost will also be the exclusive computer vendor on the USA TODAY
Online home page, and will be featured in other relevant sections on the site. In addition, USA TODAY will make banner advertising space across its site available to Cyberian Outpost.

During the course of this one-year agreement, Cyberian Outpost will receive a
guaranteed minimum number of impressions from USA TODAY. In return, the company will pay unspecified monthly fees to USA TODAY Online.

“This partnership is an ideal opportunity for Cyberian Outpost because it
enables the company to extend its reach and build its brand on one of the
Internet’s leading news and information sites,” said Darryl Peck, president
and CEO of Cyberian Outpost.

“USA TODAY Online’s technology readers are an enthusiastic and well-informed
group. By working with Cyberian Outpost, readers have the opportunity to
immediately purchase hardware that they read about in USA TODAY,” said
Lorraine Cichowski vice president and general manger of USA TODAY Information
Network, which produces USA TODAY Online.
