CyberSource Scores a Sprint Deal

Sprint signed up with CyberSource to expand its e-commerce offerings for
business customers, specifically online payment processing services.

Kansas-based Sprint said the deal will enhance the
e-commerce offerings at its 10 Sprint E|Solutions centers across the
country. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Mountain View, Calif.-based CyberSource said the payment
service offered by Sprint enables real-time payments online via credit, debit
and procurement cards and/or electronic checks, operating behind-the-scenes
to authorize and settle electronic payments through built-in connections with
third-party processors and merchant banks. It integrates with major commerce
platforms, ERP and CRM systems.

“The addition of enhanced online payment capabilities … complements our
e-commerce offerings and provides Sprint E|Solutions Center customers with a
one-stop solution that is both secure and reliable,” said Keith Paglusch,
president of Sprint E|Solutions.

Launched in 2000, E|Solutions offers hosting, e-commerce, messaging, mobile
computing, and intranet/extranet, services, among other things.
