eSynch Corp. has launched ChoiceCaster, its new media player.

ZDNet will be exclusively featuring ChoiceCaster for download starting at 9 p.m. EDT, Monday.

ChoiceCaster implements eSynch’s “Just Hit Play” approach to broadband media content. The new version provides the end-user with a single point of presence that aggregates all types of media, from entertainment to news and shopping into one source.

An integrated browser component launches automatically for targeted sites and targeted e-commerce and encourages user interactivity through tools that enable customized content management and site stickiness, because the user never leaves the browser window while viewing one or more entertainment packages simultaneously.

“The general availability of ChoiceCaster signals a critical turning point for the broadband media industry,” said Tom Hemingway, chairman and chief executive at eSynch. “ChoiceCaster delivers a true all-in-one, easy-to-use media player that will truly advance the adoption of broadband digital media.”
