Online sporting goods retailer Fogdog Sports signed a multi-million dollar,
two-year agreement with America Online to sell sporting goods in several key
areas on AOL and AOL.com.

Under the agreement, Fogdog Sports (AOL keyword: Fogdog) will be in four
departments of the new Shop @ AOL shopping destination: Sports & Fitness,
Camping & Outdoors, Golf & Recreation and Footwear & Apparel.

“This is huge for us,” said Fogdog Sports CEO Tim Harrington. “Fogdog is
proud to team up with America Online to bring the best in sporting goods to
millions of sports enthusiasts on AOL and the Internet.”

“We think sporting goods is a key growth category for our new Shop @ AOL
online shopping destination,” said Greg Shove, AOL vice president of
interactive marketing.

In addition to its position in the AOL and AOL.COM shopping areas, Fogdog
will also have advertising in AOL e-mail, People Connection and AOL Search
areas. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fogdog Sports lets consumers shop by brand, product category or keyword
search and offers more than 500 brands — including adidas, Airwalk,
Callaway, Mizuno, Nike, Rawlings, Reebok, Taylor Made and The North Face.
Fogdog carries some 60,000 individual items.
