FreeShop.com Acquires CatalogSite.com

Direct marketer FreeShop.com, Inc. Monday acquired CatalogSite.com.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

CatalogSite.com, subsidiary of Commonsite, LLC., provides users with links to hundreds of catalogs in a variety of categories. Under terms of the agreement, FreeShop will absorb all
CatalogSite employees into its operations, and content from CatalogSite is set to be integrated into FreeShop
over the next two months.

The goal of the acquisition is to enhance Freeshop’s catalog channel found on its direct marketing site, which services more than one million shoppers, the company said.

“CatalogSite adds a vast collection of free catalog offers to our site that will certainly flourish in the
FreeShop environment,” said Tim Choate, president and CEO of FreeShop.com.

“With this deep new selection, consumers will be able to easily find the catalogs that

suit their needs and tastes. It
nicely broadens our catalog category and fulfills one of our customers’
most requested items.”
