Seattle-based GreatFood.com, an online specialty food
store, said it has added a holiday gift finder, a gift of the month program
and online gift certificates.

The programs were developed to provide a fun, easy and cost-effective way to
beat the crowds, parking hassles and long lines during the holiday season, the
company said.

“Why deal with holiday shopping stress?” said Bill Cuff, president and CEO
of GreatFood.com. “We do the work for you.”

GreatFood.com arranged its more than 650 distinctive specialty food gift
ideas by price, category, food review, seasonal suggestion and brand. Choices
range from hickory-smoked ham and turkey to rich premium chocolates to gourmet
gift baskets, all professionally packaged, wrapped and delivered to the
recipient’s front door.

With the gift finder, shoppers determine what price range they’d like to shop
in, click on the appropriate dollar amount and are taken to a page detailing
all the specialty gifts within that range. The monthly program allows one to
send any of the site’s products, any time of year, from Maine lobster in
August to plum pudding in November. The gift certificates can be purchased in
any amount and can be redeemed online or by calling the site’s 800 number.

In addition, the site offers a corporate gift giving and consulting service,
which caters to the business community.
