InfoSpace.com Plans a Private Label Auction Solution

Redmond, WA-based InfoSpace.com, a provider of private
label solutions, said it plans to launch a private label auction solution
later this quarter.

The company said its integrated private label auction solution will give
Internet users the ability to go to one place to post an item for sale and
make it available on InfoSpace.com’s auction, classifieds and shopping
solution, ActiveShopper.

All postings also will be available across InfoSpace.com’s affiliate network
of more than 1,500 Web sites. The auction solution will enable portals and
other Web sites to
Offer person-to-person online auction communities while allowing them to
increase
Page views, generate additional revenue and acquire and retain members, the
company said.

“This is the first
integrated
solution that captures all of the places a buyer and seller could meet to
conduct a transaction and will help Web sites immediately build the most
comprehensive
trading community on their own sites,” said Naveen Jain, chairman and CEO of InfoSpace.com.
