Furniture retailer Rooms To Go signed a deal with
Interiors Interactive Inc., a
developer of interactive applications, to create and manage a “Room Designer”
Web-based
application that will allow consumers to lay out and arrange rooms online.

As part of the deal, Rooms to Go (RTG) will be able to deploy Interiors
Interactive’s Digital Asset Product Process, (DAPP) methodology, which cuts
costs and production time for RTG by digitizing furniture, wallpapering, and
other tangible items and enabling their easy manipulation on the Web.

“The Room Designer will enable all of Rooms To Go customers to pre-design
their home layouts with the movement of a mouse instead of straining their
backs. Our customers can now be the first in the industry empowered to get it
right the first time,” said Dave Sehwani of RoomsToGo.com.
