Toronto-based Ironside Technologies, a supplier of business-to-business electronic commerce solutions, formed a technology partnership with Cambar Software, a developer and marketer of distribution and warehouse management software products.
Ironside and Cambar said they will collectively provide a best-of-breed, business-to-business electronic commerce solution for current users of Cambar’s CONTROL I and CONTROL II Order Management Systems. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Cambar has integrated an Ironside-powered, private-labeled electronic commerce module with its order management technology to create CONTROL II Net. Ironside Powered products offer real-time, sub-second response to Internet order entry and order management in the business-to-business electronic commerce marketplace.
With CONTROL II Net, users can look up products in an online database using
five different search methods, view photos in an electronic catalog, check
inventory availability and prices in real-time, learn about sales promotions
and new products, and order products. Pricing data was not disclosed.
