K-tel International signed an agreement with Muze Inc., a provider of digital information about music, books and movies, to include Muze’s home video content on K-tel Express, K-tel’s online music and home video service.
Muze, which currently provides K-tel Express with its music information database of album reviews, credits, track listings and images, will begin providing a similar feature for the 35,000 home videos available through the Web site, including reviews, credits and images of each individual title. Financials were not disclosed.
“Muze has done an extraordinary job in providing K-tel Express with unique and interesting information on our music titles,” said Mark Margiotta, vice president, K-tel Online. “It is only natural that we expand our relationship and employ the clear advantage of Muze’s services for the home video titles we offer.”
Founded in 1991, Muze provides digital information, marketing support and technology to clients such as Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Big Star Entertainment, Blockbuster, Borders Group, Camelot Music, CDnow, Columbia House, Harmony House, Hastings, HMV, Music Boulevard, Tower Records and others.
