E-customer management ASP MineShare Inc. and Blaze Software Inc., a supplier of what
it calls “Beyond Personalization” solutions, said that MineShare has
incorporated the Blaze Advisor Solutions Suite into its e-Customer Management
Solution (e-CMS) product.

The MineShare-Blaze combination will enable corporate customers to develop a
business rules-driven e-commerce site, the companies said.

Business rules
represent the policies, practices and procedures of a corporation and define
its unique business methods and competitive advantages.

As part of its e-CMS product, MineShare customers will be able to create and
modify business rules, allowing them to design and implement customized
interactive marketing and selling programs aimed at attracting and retaining
their best customers, the companies said.

Financial arrangements between the
companies were not disclosed.

“By using the MineShare-Blaze Software solution, e-tailers can understand
what their customers are seeking, design an enhanced, personalized shopping
experience for them and execute tailored marketing campaigns and promotions
that are designed to appeal to them on an individualized basis,” said David
Mariani, MineShare’s marketing vice president and founder.

Blaze is a provider of rules-based e-business software designed to enable
consistent personalized interaction across all contact points.

The Blaze
Advisor Solutions Suite, written entirely in Java, is designed to give
e-business applications more personalized interaction for users, which can
lead to greater customer retention, decreased costs and increased sales.
