Santa Clara, CA-based mySimon Inc., an Internet e-commerce hub
that is focused on online comparison shopping, said its shopping bot now
searches more than 1,200 merchant sites.

New product categories include Furbys and Cigars & Accessories. New Web
merchants include auction sites eBay and OnSale, and ProFlowers, Buy.com,
800.com, Snowboardshop.com and Anything PC.

“We believe shoppers come to the Web to find the best values conveniently. By
including more quality merchants in our search service, we simply help
shoppers find better deals,” said Josh Goldman, president and CEO of mySimon.
“We don’t have any restrictive deals in place that limit who we can and can’t
search on the Internet.”

The company said that key to mySimon’s growth is its VLA (Virtual Learning
Agent)
technology, which enables rapid scaling. Applied behind the scenes, VLA
“enables mySimon’s shopping ‘bot’ to shop new Web merchants in a matter of
minutes.”
