Music retailer N2K Inc. and MTV signed an exclusive agreement
to incorporate local versions of N2K’s Music Boulevard store into four MTV
international online sites.
Under the agreement, N2K’s Music Boulevard will serve as the exclusive online
music retailer for each site and will create and maintain the online retail
environments. Financial details were not disclosed.
MTV will provide the local Music Boulevard stores with news headlines relevant
to the audience in each territory. Additionally, N2K will create specific
boutiques for MTV Asia, MTV Brazil, MTV Japan and MTV Europe within Music
Boulevard, which will highlight music product from local artists in each
international territory.
