Plants Express Signs Marketing Deal with IMNI

The American Group, Inc. has begun to expand the
marketing efforts of Plants Express Inc. and entered a
strategic marketing alliance with Interactive Multimedia Network Inc.

IMNI launched Shop-the-Net.com almost five years ago
and during that time created a strong retail presence for its family shopping
village.

IMNI will promote Plants Express via its Shop-the-Net.com site. In addition,
popular Internet destinations that IMNI has created and marketed will begin to
feature Plant Express products via banner advertising.

Plants Express will also be featured in future television productions of
IMNI’s Interactive Home Shopping Television Series: Shop-the-Net, which will
air throughout south Florida markets; where Plants Express, The American Group
and its subsidiary, Lantana Peat and Soil, are located.

Within the month, IMNI will also begin an intensive Internet advertising
banner campaign to promote Plants Express. Additionally, by third quarter
1999, an Associates Program will be in place that will generate cross-
promotion of plants-express.com in the Web sites of its member sites.

Spending details were not disclosed.

Plants Express said its marketing department will continue to build on the
current client base of e-commerce retailers that it supplies with live potted
plants. Several of the more prominent Internet floral sites utilize Plants Express to supply their customers.
