Thomson Financial’s EC Media
Group launched ecomworld.com, a site that is the online
sister publication of its Electronic Commerce World print magazine.
The Web component will offer daily news and analysis, as well as “numerous
portals dedicated to specific technology categories, such as enterprise
application integration and XML, and portals dedicated to particular
industries, such as retail, financial services and manufacturing,” the
company said.
EC Media Group also publishes
magazines including Financial Service OnLine, Health Data Management, DM
Review, Internet Health Care Magazine and EC Technology News.
The ecomworld.com site, edited by Richard Mitchell, also offers the editorial
content from the current and archived issues of Electronic Commerce World
magazine, now in its 11th year of publication, having launched in 1990 as EDI
World.
