TechWave, an e-commerce and software distribution company, said that its flagship online computer store, BuySoftware.com, has become the exclusive reseller of computer and software products for EntryPoint, a Web based business center for PointCast viewers.

EntryPoint aggregates some of the Web’s most popular online resources in one
location, giving PointCast viewers direct access to BuySoftware.com’s
selection of more than 100,000 computer software and hardware products.

The BuySoftware Network Store for PointCast is one of the most recent
additions to the BuySoftware Network, a network of more than 300 online
storefronts built and designed by TechWave.

EntryPoint is the default destination for PointCast viewers when they access
the Web within the PointCast client. Financial terms of the arrangement were
not disclosed.

PointCast viewers will also have the ability to purchase thousands of software
titles via electronic software distribution (ESD) using TechWave’s patent-
pending BuySoftware Digital Container.

PointCast joins more than 300 online sites and more than 3,500 Internet
affiliate sites, including Yahoo!, PC World Online, and EarthLink, that have
turned to Seattle-based TechWave to build their own co-branded online computer
store, each capable of reselling more than 100,000 brand-name computer and
software titles.
