TechWave Offers PersonalStore Program

TechWave in Seattle, an electronic commerce service provider, delivered a new PersonalStore program designed to enable anyone to operate their own online software superstore, which comes fully stocked with more than 30,000 brand name software titles.

TechWave’s PersonalStore is currently available at techwave.com/pstore, and can be set up in less than 10 minutes, the company said.

For a one-time commitment of $199 and a monthly hosting fee of $9.95, end
users receive a personalized storefront which is maintained and operated by
TechWave. Leveraging its suite of Commerce Trust merchant services, TechWave
said it manages all front and back-end operations, including real time credit
card processing, order fulfillment and customer service support.

TechWave’s PersonalStore merchant partners can effectively resell brand name
software products or purchase software directly from their own store for
personal use, the company added. PersonalStore partners are also enabled to
resell both ESD
(Electronic Software Distribution) and shrink wrapped products and can earn up
to 10 percent on every product sold through their store.

“The PersonalStore program redefines the way commerce will be conducted in the
future,” said Dwayne Walker, president and CEO of TechWave. “TechWave has
forged hundreds of direct relationships with software publishers,
manufacturers and distributors so that merchants of any size can
concentrate on their core marketing tasks. We believe that `peer to peer’
commerce will be the new paradigm for business in the next millennium.”
