Todito, Dgolpe Link For Three-Language Music Channel

Todito.com, an Internet portal and marketplace for North American Spanish-speakers, Thursday signed a two-year agreement with New York-based Dgolpe, a music portal providing Spanish, Portuguese and English speakers on-line music and music-related services.

As part of this agreement, Dgolpe and Todito have launched a co-branded music channel on Todito.com that offers a guide to the world of MP3, more than one thousand free licensed MP3 downloads and a search engine feature for finding music and information on artists. The agreement also covers an e-commerce initiative whereby MP3’s and CD’s will be made available for purchase on Todito.com.

“Our music channel rounds out Todito’s existing on-line multimedia services that include webcasts of TV Azteca programs, a game channel, and a radio channel,” said Tim Parsa, Todito’s chief executive officer. “The main focus of the music channel will be on Hispanic and Latin American music and artists, with an interactive section for uploading music that gives aspiring musicians a free and easy platform to showcase their music.”
