Dimension in Seattle
signed an agent relationship with GTE Wireless allowing consumers in 16
metropolitan areas to buy from the major carrier through the Wireless
Dimension online shopping service.
Wireless Dimension is a free and impartial service helping consumers in the
top U.S. metropolitan areas research wireless products and services, identify
a local authorized dealer or buy online.
The arrangement with GTE Wireless brings the total number of Wireless
Dimension markets where consumers can buy online to 41. Financial
arrangements were not
disclosed.
“GTE Wireless is excited about the opportunity to provide this online purchase
option to consumers interested in GTE Wireless service. At GTE Wireless, we
are always looking for ways to make it easier for customers to buy GTE
Wireless products and services,” said Douglas Carswell, director of
distribution development for GTE Wireless.
GTE Wireless buy-online metro areas include: Austin, TX; Cleveland, Cincinnati
and Dayton, OH; Greensboro/Winston-Salem, NC; Houston, TX; Indianapolis, IN;
Louisville/Lexington, KY; Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; Norfolk/Virginia
Beach/Newport News, VA; Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC; San Diego, CA; San
