Microsoft made several announcements today at its Worldwide Partner Conference, among them that it would begin beta testing of the next version of its CRM software this quarter. The software will feature tighter integration with other Microsoft products that are also getting the integration, collaboration and on-demand treatment. eCRM Guide has the details.


Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) announced today that the next version of its customer relationship management (CRM) solution will be publicly available as a beta release in September.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 — code-named “CRM5” — includes stronger integration with Microsoft Outlook and Office, new visualization and collaboration features, and a more prominent role for partners.
