Ciprico Inc. this week announced they have received solutions compatibility certification from VERITAS Software Corporation.
According to the company, this signifies the completion of a certified test plan that involved the Ciprico NETarray RAID storage solution in operation with VERITAS software applications to validate that all products work together as intended.
“The Military’s Joint Vision 2020 Initiative of Interoperability is dependent on commercial companies taking the responsibility for compatibility.” noted Robert H. Kill, Ciprico President and CEO. “Certified compatibility between Ciprico and VERITAS products represents a major milestone in Ciprico’s strategy to deliver highly available storage solutions for global C4I (command, control, computers, communications and intelligence) systems. Ciprico and VERITAS have worked closely together to assure our two product families are compatible for the mission critical applications of C4I.”
As a result of certification, Ciprico will be listed as a solutions partner and added to the VERITAS Tested Solutions List.
